Dignity2 Heavy Duty (HD) Features:

Frame: Heavy-duty inner frame. Tamperproof seat pan welded directly to the frame
Seat: 0.75” thick plywood with upholstery covers form-fitted and stapled over 3” thick hi-resiliency polyurethane slab foam. Foam is fully enclosed within upholstery and attached to a metal seat pan for tamper resistance
Seat Back: Upholstered back based on 0.75” thick, 7 ply laminated plywood core platform and form-fitted to cover 4” thick hi-resiliency polyurethane slab foam; Fully enclosed within upholstery and surrounded by metal back frame for tamper resistance
Foam: Molded foam displaces 25% of non-renewable petroleum material with a sustainable plant-based substitute without changing the physical properties, comfort, and longevity
Side Frame: The metal frame consists of a 14 gauge steel armature designed with tabs to ensure that the arm cap and side panels stay connected to the frame. The welded metal frame has two channels that mechanically fasten to the seat frame
Arms: Options for laminated, polyurethane, or wood arm caps
Glides: Frame feet finished with non-removable 1 1/8” steel levelers
Option to add perforated seat pan for ligature resistance and easy clean-out
Option for one, two, and three-seaters
Exceeds BIFMA Seating Durability test to 500 lbs
Flame Retardant (meets specifications for Federal Motor Vehicle Standard MVSS302 and CA Bulletin No. 117 (TB117-2013)
