Tailor Heavy Duty (HD) Chair Features:
- Frame: Fully welded 14 gauge steel
- Seat: 0.75” thick plywood structure with elastic webbing across the center adds suspension to the part of the seat most commonly interacted with, topped with high-resiliency molded foam. Seat upholstery is stapled into place along a disciplined edge, covered with a steel plate
- Seat Back: CNC-cut plywood panels with high-resiliency foam create comfortable upper back and lumbar support. The metal-to-metal connection between the back and frame ensures longevity and stability
- Foam: Molded foam displaces 25% of non-renewable petroleum material with a sustainable plant-based substitute without changing the physical properties, comfort, and longevity
- Arms: Plywood construction with spacer blocks made from polyamide; Option to attach polyurethane caps. Arm panels extend fully to the floor to address ligature concerns
- Foot: One-piece rotationally molded polyethylene
- Standard perforated steel plate on the underside eliminates all pass-throughs and avoids trapping fluids
- Option to add a roto-molded insert to the bottom of the chair for ligature resistance and to enclose the underside
- Option for one, two, and three seats
- Flame Retardant (meets specifications for Federal Motor Vehicle Standard MVSS302 and CA Bulletin No. 117 (TB117-2013)
